Larkspur connects thousands of publishers with exclusive advertiser offers and pays out on every confirmed conversion. As volume grew, so did the cost of fraud: bot clicks, cookie stuffing, incentivised and duplicate leads were eating into advertiser budgets and publisher trust. Black River built the network’s tracking platform from the ground up: click and impression tracking, server-to-server postbacks, conversion attribution, smart offer rotation and automated publisher payouts.
At its core is a multi-layer fraud engine that scores every click and conversion in real time. It combines device fingerprinting – including Picasso-style canvas and WebGL rendering signatures that reveal emulators and spoofed browsers – with header consistency checks, IP reputation, proxy, VPN and data-centre detection, and behavioural signals such as click-to-conversion timing. Suspicious traffic is held for review before it is paid, and per-publisher quality scores decide who gets access to premium offers. The platform now tracks millions of conversions a month while keeping fraudulent payouts to a fraction of a percent.
